Scott Cassady
Scott Cassady came to Huffmaster Companies 4 years ago, after graduating Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration majoring in Sales and Business Marketing. A hybrid major, SBM gave Scott the ability to focus not only on Business functions and sales, but also on market understanding and client relationships. Before joining Huffmaster’s Healthcare Labor Dispute Division, Scott was hired to help develop BlueForce Healthcare Staffing. A division of Huffmaster Companies focusing on travel assignments and permanent placement of Healthcare professionals, this opportunity allowed him to gain the experience necessary to communicate effectively on the phone and develop relationships with potential applicants and clients. Quickly understanding that both the Healthcare Professional and the Healthcare Provider were clients, he has always put an emphasis on satisfying both parties’ needs. As anyone in the Healthcare Industry knows, being able to communicate effectively is only half the battle. Understanding the complexity of building a Healthcare Profile, diagnosing health documents, and meeting Hospital file requirements can be a tough task, but it is something that comes natural to Scott.
As a recruiter, he has helped Huffmaster staff Healthcare Labor Disputes for several years. Most recently, he has been working directly with the Healthcare Director on the operations side of the business. Traveling to meet with perspective clients, helping to develop staffing matrices and cost Proformas. At this point he has succeeded in every aspect of this market. Displaying the versatility to work in office as a Recruiter, Database Manager, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Scheduler and Staffing Coordinator and on site as a Logistics Manager, Site Coordinator, In Processor and Client Liaison. Outside of professional interests Scott is an avid Detroit sports fan and scratch golfer. He enjoys traveling, board games, basketball, volleyball, softball and disc golf. He has always considered himself a “people person” and his focus on relationship building in both his personal and business life has always been one of his top priorities.
